Why am I doing the LIFEWISE Big Sleepout?

How many of us, at some point in our lives, have stopped to consider the things we take for granted? A roof over our heads. The support of a loving family. The absolute certainty that tomorrow will be as promising as today. But even in our most prosperous city, homelessness remains an issue. The Big Sleepout confronts the stereotype by confronting the participants, even though last year it was more like the Big Lieintherainandseehowcoldandwetyoucangetwhilealsonotreallysleepingatall. Not as catchy, I'll grant you, but a lot closer to the truth.
