About me

Richard Harris has been a director of Jasmax since 1989 and chairman since 2000.

He is currently on the Committee for Auckland board and is a member of the Construction Strategy Group. Richard was the NZIA president from 2008 to 2010 and in 2009 chaired the government’s urban taskforce.

Over the last decade Richard has been the New Zealand based director-in-charge of the Auckland City Hospital, Sylvia Park and the redevelopment of Eden Park.

Current projects include AUT University WG building, his seventh on the AUT University City Campus, the Grafton Campus redevelopment for the University of Auckland Medical School and the ASB Head Office in the Wynyard Quarter.

Richard is heavily involved in master planning and his projects have won numerous architectural and property council awards.
